The Aviation Health Institute is currently in the early concept and research phase. The initiative explores preventive health frameworks tailored specifically for aviation professionals and aims to connect aviation operational insight with medical expertise and research.

The initiative is driven by the belief that long-term health deserves the same level of awareness and attention that aviation already applies to safety and risk management.

Airline Pilot | Aviation Health & Preventive Medicine

I am a long-haul airline pilot with a growing interest in preventive health and long-term performance in aviation.

Over the years, I started to notice how the realities of flying — irregular schedules, circadian disruption, and operational fatigue — may influence not only short-term performance, but also long-term health.

Like many pilots, I used to rely on standard medical checks without fully understanding what the results actually meant. That changed when I began looking deeper into my own data and realized how much more there is beyond "normal ranges."

This led me to explore a simple question:

What if we approached our health with the same level of awareness and risk management as we do in aviation?

Aviation Health Institute is an early-stage initiative built around this idea — combining principles of aviation risk management with preventive medicine to better understand, monitor, and improve long-term health in aviation professionals.
